Accidental Soup

In follow-up to the fifteen bean soup.

(Which was delicious, BTW)

Accidental Kebab Soup (Thick)

I had a piece of pork neck that wouldn’t fit in the crock pot, and some vegetables, so I put the piece in a medium sauce pan and boiled it until the water was reduced by half.

I then added onion, bell pepper, and celery (sliced and diced appropriately) and a pinch of dried garlic bits (forgot to get a clove or two when at the store)  and cooked until tender.

Finally, with a small paring knife, I worried the bits of meat off the neck bones, and gave the bones to my dog for a treat.

The result was strange.  It was more substance than broth, and tasted like a soup made from shish kebab.
