So, here I am with the usual odds and ends in pantry and refrigerator, wondering what to whomp up for lunch. All the ingredients leapt out at me and demanded attention.
Hunts tomato sauce with basil, garlic, and oregano.
Toast the English muffins for a few minutes, spoon tomato sauce on until the top is covered, add shredded cheese, also covering the muffin, and top with chopped up ham and pepperoni.
Bake at 375 ° F for 10-12 minutes.
Cool and eat.
Goes well with Coca-Cola. (It is not true us Southern Illinoisans think Coke is the universal solvent. That would be catsup. Or beer.)
