Good Old Sloppy Joe

Sloppy Joe

Per Wikipedia: “Marilyn Brown, Director of the Consumer Test Kitchen at H.K. Heinz in Pittsburgh, says their research at the Carnegie Library suggests that the Sloppy Joe began in a Sioux City, Iowa, cafe as a ‘Loose meat’ sandwich in 1930, the creation of a cook named Joe.”

Wherever it came from, it is simply one of the simplest red meat dishes you can fix in a hurry.

One pound lean hamburger meat.

One can Manwich Sloppy Joe Mix

Hamburger Dill Pickles

Hamburger buns

Cook the meat up, add the mix, take off the stove, apply however much you can cram into your mouth onto the bun, add pickles, and consume with grunts of joy.

Seems other people think highly of it also.

Did I mention the pickles?

Goes well with lemonade, cola, beer, etc.
